Job Description

Position Summary: Primarily responsible for providing outstanding levels of service to all Tijuana Flats Guests, while ensuring that all service standard points are met, all food-safety guidelines are followed and the front of house is always kept clean, sanitized and presentable.

 

Position Responsibilities:

Sanitation, Health and Cleanliness:

·       Maintain sanitation, health and safety standards in all work areas in the Front of House

·       All guest areas are clean and sanitized.

·       Restrooms are maintained to highest quality cleanliness and sanitation standards.

·       Always maintain a clean and presentable Front of House – the Front of House should be “Guest ready” at all                times.

·       Stock and restock workstations

 

Cashier, Food Runner and Floor Duties:

·       Ring all items into POS correctly to ensure accuracy and 100% guest satisfaction.

·       Handle cash correctly, within guidelines of the Tijuana Flats cash-handling policy.

·       Suggest/Guide guests through menu and menu items.

·       Follow/Understand all FOH service standards and procedures.

·       Ensure that all food delivered to the guest is prepared, cooked and presented according to Tijuana Flats high                standards of quality and presentation

·       Display a sense of urgency towards ticket times and maintain a clean environment at all times.

 

Miscellaneous

·       Participate in all training and meetings provide and required by management

·       Provide all guest with above and beyond guest service

·       Consistently provide the highest quality of service to all guest

§  Work environment: Site work will require exposure to varying weather conditions and increase exposure to noise.  Proper food handling procedures and safety precautions, such as cutting gloves, hot gloves, non-slip shoes, etc. will be required when handling product.
